
Musical Theatre
The Musical Theatre Performance track is a major designed for students who dream of Broadway. In this program students will be trained in Choral Studies, Acting, and Dance to become triple threats. This track includes training in the varying styles of musical theatre while building a repertoire that will give the tools necessary to succeed in the world of musical theatre.

Performance
The Performance Theatre track is designed for young actors who are serious about their craft. The performance training is Meisner-based and incorporates techniques designed to help the students explore the full potential of their own unique resources. When students leave McNeil, they have a broad range of experiences and are prepared for success in university, conservatory, and/or professional theatre.

Technical Theatre
The Technical Theatre track gives students opportunities to study stagecraft and design in the classroom and use McNeil High School’s new state-of-the-art facilities to make their ideas a reality. The track includes hands-on experience in scenic design, lighting design, costume design, sound design and stage management. Design and production students have opportunities for collaboration with other departments including Dance and Cinematic Arts.

Directing
The Directing Track give students the opportunity to take the reigns and direct their own productions. This track facilitates leadership skills and prepares students to interact with their peers in a positive way with hands-on experience. This track give students the chance to cross into the audience and find their own artistic voice.
